Yes, we're home! We actually got home late last night. Here's the story with Schizo: His blood pressure was extremely high, like I said. Usually when your pressure's that high, you blow a blood vessel in your brain and have a stroke. In his case, one burst in his chest instead. The blood went into his bronchi and lungs, so he had to cough it out. His headaches were also because of the pressure. Pretty much, every little thing that's been going on with his health for the last good while has been directly caused by his blood pressure. He's on medications now to help keep it more under control, and it looks like once he's recovered completely from this little episode he'll be better than ever! He's also completely quit his pack-a-day smoking habit, and if I still want to smoke, I go outside. Bottom line-- he totally realizes how big he lucked out here by blowing a gasket in his chest instead of in his head. And so do I. Thank you guys so much for thinking of us this week, and for all of your kind words and support!!! I may still not be on too much for the next few days as Schizo recovers here at home, but I wanted to let you know how everything turned out. We're both so happy to be home!!!

OH Charity, what a relief that everything is going to be OK! He is one lucky guy, especially to have you there looking after him.

I'm glad Schizo's getting better now Charity! Although as you say, that was a close one, it could have been so much worse. #smileyhug#

I'm so happy to hear that it's something that they were able to identify the problem and it can be controlled with medication. It sucks that it happened, but aren't you grateful that it wasn't something worse? I'm sure the entire ordeal was scary and nerve wracking, I hope things settle down for you now. Give my best to Schizo. #smileyhug#
