Any fans of the greatly underated band Free? To me they are one of the most underated bands ever next to Blind Melon. Nothing compares to Paul Kossoffs intense sounds and vibrato and the amazing bass playing of Andy Fraser. Any fans here? I'm really starting to get into them and Koss.

I'm a fan of Free and a great fan of Kossoff. My fav song by Kossoff is Molten Gold. I bought the LP at a second hand store for $3.00, mint condition!!!!! Now I need a turntable! Never thought I'd meet a fan of Kossoff here, well #cheers# to you.

Other bands you mean? Well there's Jeff Beck, one of the most innovative guitar legends. He's formerly from the Yardbirds who boasted Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page as band members. But Beck is the one I really like. How about you?

Yeah Becks REALLY good. He basically pioneered fuzz. Wide range of players that I like though. From Clapton to Robert Johnson to Allen Collins to Fripp and Koss. Does anyone else see alot of Kossoffs sounds in Gary Rossington of Lynyrd Skynyrd?

And while pioneering, the dude went deaf.

And while pioneering, the dude went deaf. Pete Townshend is another one who has suffered hearing loss. I think he started some kind of charitable foundation to bring attention to it. Matt when you mentioned this it made me think of Unified Theory's lyrics from California "A metal band at scream was all I heard for weeks", I love that tune by the way!
