I couldnt give a stuff what he looked like, i just dig what came out of his mouth... he could have been the Elephant Man, and i would have loved him as much... Now Travis has resurrected a voice that will carry the melon into the future... i dont know if the ladies of this forum would agree with me there...lol  |

As a Lady Melon I would like to first state that the fact Shannon was hot is merely the gravy for me. Being physically attracted to him has NOTHING to do with the connection I feel to him. It was all his mind, his songs, his voice...it was from day 1. When I saw him for the first time I had no particular feeling about his looks except he looked exactly like a friend I had at the time. Trust me though when I say that he was without question the hottest guy who has ever roamed this planet! Travis, now, I kind of feel the same way in that I heard him before I saw him and liked that first as well. Therefore, the fact that he also is incredibly good looking with really nice lips, a cute butt, and a great smile is more gravy!  I look forward to meeting him! #hoonsmiley# PS- I agree about Shannon's look and this is a favorite picture of mine I know you'll enjoy too!  |

I agree but I liked the short hair at times. I've had 2 dreams about him over the years that were like "experiences" for me and in both he had long hair. The 2nd dream I got to hug him and run my hands in his hair and when I woke up I could still feel it's softness in my fingers...very intense! Here is a short hair shot I love alot!  |

Putting in my opinion as a girl as well, I feel that he looks good any way and that my love for him also has nothing to do with the way he looked. The connection I feel with him is different because I think of him more as like a family member, like my brother. Whenever I talk to my friends about him they mention that they think he was hot and I always feel awkward like they are saying my brother is hot.

I agree with Robin, it is abit like saying that your brother is hot.
Although i will never deny his good looks... i don't talk about him like he's just a piece of meat.
There's just too much respect, ya know?
Anyhoons,
I prefer Shannons long hair ONLY because those were brighter days for him i think, you can kinda feel the difference when you look at the pictures and when you hear his voice on the first album, there was a fresh-ness about him...
And then when you see him with his short greasy hair and his eyes are distant, not lit up like before, he's not the same... his voice changes too, he's much more troubled in the second album.
I sound like such a dickhead saying that.
But it's true.
And people like me and you really feel for him, even today... 12 years on...
That means ALOT.
