I was looking through an old issue of High TImes, and there was an article about Woodstock '94. It only had a couple of blurbs about Blind Melon. Here are the short excerpts: High TimesDecember 1994 Woodstock ‘94 Ain’t Nothin’ but the Real Thingby Steve Bloom "Backstage, in the artist compound up the hill, Blind Melon were getting ready to go on. Shannon Hoon was getting psyched Peter Max had just signed his guitar. In the distance, I could hear the distinct Midwestern croon of Shannon Hoon. I ran down the hill during “No Rain.” On stage, Hoons face was made up, and he was wearing a white skirt with barrettes in his hair. This curious display of transvestitism would earn him full-page spreads in Time and Entertainment Weekly magazines." There was also this photo of Brad Smith in the article: So if you have an old collection of Time or Entertainment Weekly from 1994, you might want to look through some of them.
