Hey everyone, Thanks for the comments! I alway senjoy sharing my pictures with other melons. I went up to West Point & Columbus, MS yesterday. It might be a few days before I get those posted up on the forum, but rest assured, you all will be seeing some more photos from my trip. Here's a couple for now. . . Gabbee, I forgot to write you and let you know that I drove across Texas on my trip. I don't know that I was necessarily in your neck of the woods, but I should keep it in mind for my next trip through TX. That state is so huge. It always takes two days to get across Texas. I stopped in Luckenbach to see the town made famous by Willie Nelson's song. That was the first time that I had ever had a beer in a United States Post Office! Here are some photos that I posted on the Willie Nelson forum: www.willienelson.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=001448In regards to New Orleans, there are definitely neighborhoods that still look like a bomb went off (Lower 9th ward, Chalmette, etc.) but many parts of New Orleans are looking much better. On the surface things look better, however many of the services have not returned because less than half of the population has returned to New Orleans. I'm not sure about the percentage of returned/not-returned population in the larger metro area, but some businesses are not open becuase they can't find workers. If my grandmother needs to have a procedure or surgery, her doctor cannot admit her to the hospital as an in-patient because there are only 400 hospital beds in all of New Orleans. So she would have to wait in the E.R. for a day or two. Of course it would be quicker to just drive her to Baton Rouge, LA or Jackson, MS. That is just an example of how the services in the area are lacking. There are many more examples of a similar scenario. There just aren't enough people to offer the services that were there before the storm. Even though some things have not returned, I find that people's spirits are mostly positive. We'll just see how this next season treats the coast. I hope they fix those levees soon! #meh#

Awww, I just saw the pics now! That's so cool! Thanks Ryan! And it's so cool indeed, to see the same balcony today! I LOVE that pic of Shannon, one of my favorites too! In general my favorite Blind Melon pics are the craziest, weirdest, funniest ones Wow Ryan that is truly amazing, the pics are so cool and the house is so big and sumptuous! I love to see the balcony with the old rusty railing where Clinch took one of my favourite Shannon's photo. However thank you so much for sharing these wonderful pics, hope you're having a great time.
