Has anyone else noticed how Christopher and Rogers really complement each other's playing? In some bands that have two guitarists, they end up playing over each other or stepping on one another's toes. But Christopher and Rogers always seemed to jive together. And it's not like one played rhythm guitar and the other played lead guitar. They both played rhythm and lead. And I think in general the whole band jives together, but I think they are really lucky to have had two guitarists who weren't trying to compete with one another. It was always about the music and the groove.
Any thoughts on this ? ? ?

They are panned to seperate sides as well. That just goes to show you that the band does not put total focus on one player. They hardly ever play the same thing during the same song. Very unique.

Yes, I still find new things and sounds in their playing to this day, and I've been listening over 10 years! They really knew their sounds and effects very well, and worked very well off each other. It's like they were both soloing at the same time and Brad was the only one to hold the melody together. But then you listen to Brad and he's soloing too! This is a big reason Blind Melon was so amazing. Add a beautiful voice and beautiful lyrics and that's all she wrote!
