I'd like to know if anyone from Ontario attend the vigil. I'm looking at the map and I would cross at the Soo Michigan border, it seems simple enough to get to Lafayette. Can't believe I'm actually looking into this, but I'd love to meet all you young melons and get a chance to talk to you. You seem to have a lot of the same values I had at your age and that blows me away because so many young people really don't get what this life is all about. Much love.

Ishbell, Im so glad you're planning on coming b/c Im truly looking forward to meeting you! You're deff not going to regret it, plus there are other older melons that come... Heck, Nel being the queen bee and all, I think she's 65? There's many more.. people that knew Shannon in person and people who didn't... Plus I'm sure once you get there the last thing you'll think about is age so do come!!! Oh yeah and to answer your question, yes there are MANY Canadians at the vigil, in fact, I think they make up HALF the crowd, lol I dont know if any of the Canadian vigil-goers post here though, I know Panda and Nata are registered but dont post often. If you like, I can give you some of their email addys and whatnot. Much love to you!

It would be great to get their emails Gabbee. I would also love to meet Nel, she sounds like my kind of mom and I would love to meet you young melons. I love young people, that's why I don't mind getting older; we should all be happy to make room for young people; imagine living in a static world where nobody dies and and no new life is born it would be pretty damn boring. My son will be 18 in June and I love to watch him and his friends, they're like bear cubs, always wrestling and goofing off and some of the stuff they come up with has me in stitches. Some weekend mornings I get up and there's like 6 pairs of shoes at the door and I know they've gone partying and are all sleeping in my basement. They'll all come upstairs stinky, hungover with sheepish little grins on their chins. That's when I assign chores like picking up the dog poo outside and cleaning out the bathrooms, kiddingly of course. I'm well loved by them all so feeding them and cleaning up after them isn't such a chore unless one of them has puked downstairs which has happened a couple of times then it's get your sorry ass down there and clean it up. Well enough of that . I had a great mothers day and now I'm going to watch a movie.

hey Ishbell, I'm from ontario, sarnia ont it's right across the river from Michigan. But unfortunately I wont be able to go to the vigil this year. I've never gone before yet but hope to some day soon, that may not be for afew more years though, but time seems to just fly by now adays so I guess it's not that bad. But hey when I do get the chance to go out there I hope that I will get the chance to meet you and all the other melons.

no sorry I don't know any of those people, and yes many people around here seem to be melonheads. but then again there's many people who are just like, "who the fuck is blind melon?" so i guess it depends on what kind of music sence you grow up with and so forth.
