Frogs? I thought that was just another term for french people? (I am 100% French, I have been called that before...)

On the other hand I never even tried...but...I tried "big ass ants" (that's how they're called, cause they really HAVE a BIG ass), a speciality from south america, columbia I think, but not sure...it tasted something like old peanuts but worse. Frogs? I thought that was just another term for french people? (I am 100% French, I have been called that before...) All my friends are always talking about going to Thailand but i have no interest in that.
I made my mind up years ago that my first real trip will be to America where i will go to the vigil.
Hopefully next year..
I got to say...This all sounds very good what you guys are planning here,i hope i can help out in one way or another.
And i have to say this..I can`t imagine this happening or even being planned anywhere else than a Melonhead place.

I can't believe I just now read this post. Gabbee I am doing everything In my power to make sure I am at the Vigil this year. I was thinking I could make up some stickers on the Blind Melon Forum Store and order a bunch and take them with me, Then Mark them up 50 cents to a dollar to help raise money. Ill start working on a Vigil 06 design right away.

gabbee this thread makes me really love you (not in a wierd way of course!  )
well i i havent got many ideas, but i guess when i have a job and some income, i could make some blind melon patches, cuz im sure my friends know how to get hold of the material thats used for those patches.
And i guess i could print or draw pictures and stuff and do something artsy and blind melon related with it
then people can sew the patches to thier jeans and stuff.
i mean, id be glad to helpout or watnot, and bring my schizzle to the vigil if i can make it this year!

Every melon must experience it at least once in their lifetime! You are right though, I dont think I ever saw this unity and family-like relationship within fans of any other band... ;D Briady!!!! I love you too, but in a very very VERY weird way  haha!! The Blind Melon patches sound awesome!!! Oh and the art... oh my god,the art.. please do! I have a feeling Im gonna need to bring a LOT of money to the vigil this year because so far I want everything you guys mentioned! hehehe And pleeeease do come, pleeeeease! You know you dont have to worry about coming up with money for hotel and shit, like I say every year everyone is more than welcome to crash with us! (Plus we dont really use the beds anyway, what little time we sleep is usually at the cemetary right next to Shannon!) |

I have asked my friend Lisa to tag along with me on the trip this year, and hopefully she can come, I am crossing my fingers that everything works out because I want to desperately be there! Worst case senario is that I ship the stickers to someone else who is attending....but I plan on being there no matter what. I wonder if we should get little lock boxes for the money, they make small ones you can carry around. Then we can put it all together later?  |
