You should check out H.264. Great quality. Maybe I'm biased 'cuz I'm a Mac guy.

Nel and I were checking out this thread to see what people were saying about the show so far. We laughed when we saw the post about meeting her at the waffle house this morning. If I knew you (311 guy) was part of this forum, I would have taken your picture with her and posted it for you! How funny.......what a small world.... I had my camera in the car. I don't know what I was thinking by not getting my picture taken with her. The whole ride back to Milwaukee I was kicking myself.

The show sold out too. A lot of people outside were asking for extra tickets.

The show last night was amazing. My far the best concert I have ever been too. I had chills the entire time. It was really cool to see Nel at the show too. But that was not the last time I would be seeing her this weekend...
This morning my friends and I decided to go to the Waffle House down the road from our hotel in London, OH, about 20 min outside Columbus. As we're eating I noticed this lady sitting further down the counter from us. I kept thinking, "She kinda looks like Nel Hoon." I just kept looking at her 'cuz I've never seen her in person, except for the concert last night. All I'v eseen is pictures of her. As we're getting ready to leave, I get a better view of her and sure enough, Nel Hoon is eating at the same Waffle House as I am. After I paid I went up to her politely and asked her if she was Nel Hoon. She turns around with a big smile on her face and notices my Blind Melon shirt and gives me big hug. I told her I saw her at the show last night and I was totally blown away by seeing Blind Melon live. She talked about she really enjoyed it and how Travis was really welcomed by the crowd. She also mentioned how good the old songs sounded. (On a side note, I'm pretty sure she was crying when Mouthful Of Cavities was being played). I told her my friends and I drove all the way from Milwaukee to come to the show and how it was one of the greatest nights of my life. She then mentioned that she might make an appearance at the Chicago show this week. By this time her food came, so I told her I would let her enjoy her meal and that it was very nice to meet her. What a great way to end an amazing weekend.

Could someone pick one up for me if I give them cash? I went to the Columbus show, but I didn't even make my way to the merch booth for fear of loosing my spot. Please Please Please, let me know.

When she first came out, she goes up to the mic and says, "Isn't it about time?"

Just got to the hotel after the Columbus show. Oh my god! Best concert I have ever been to. Nel was there too. She came on stage in the beginning and at the end before the encore. I shook Brad's hand Chris gave me the peace sign. Damn, it was so much fun. This girl in front of me was shooting some video. I'm gonna check tomorrow on YouTube and see if it's up. They played "Sometimes" for the first time on the tour too. I can't wait to see them again.

i have the equipment but it's bulky and I don't have a battery pack so I need to sneak in a suitcase size recorder and then weasel an outlet somehow... but I can record three tracks at the same time... (ie: track 1;soundboard, track2;bass condenser mic, track;3normal condeser mic) if I can weasel my way in... the question is, will anyone VIDEO TAPE any shows? Do you plan on going to any shows? Maybe the Columbus show?

So as the countdown to the new tour shortens, I starting wondering if anyone's going to be recording the concerts. Like Matt mentioned in another thread, this time around we can be in control. We don't have to trade some guy who got the show from some other guy and so on. Has anyone on the board ever recorded a concert before? I'd love to tape the Columbus show, but I've never done it before. I'd be afraid I'd just get a loud bass-laden, horrible recording. We should get a little roster or something going so every show on the tour can get recorded in the best possible quality- possibly even soundboard.

Does anyone plan on recording the 10/16 Columbus show? Possibly a soundboard if the band allows it?

OMG! I'm so going. Milwaukee's not that far, only like 10 hours. I'm a truck driver though, so I'm used to driving. Are there any hotels near by?

I really like the movie. It reminded me of the older episodes, prior to season 12 or whatever. I haven't watch the show in years, but I totally recommend the movie to any Simpsons fan.

The only show that I watch religiously has to be one of the first to stop production because of the writers' strike. Why oh why? "Production on “The Office” was shut down on Tuesday, after the writers, several of whom are also actors on the show, began picketing and Steve Carell, the lead actor, refused to cross picket lines. Only two new episodes are ready for broadcast, so “The Office” will enter repeats after the Nov. 15 episode." tvdecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/11/07/early-victim-of-strike-office-originals-end-next-week/?hp

I've got last nights on my dvr, but I have yet to watch it. I thinks that's the last of the one-hour episodes. Did anyone get the 3rd season boxset that was released? Now I have a mini Dwight bobblehead and my very own Dundee Award!
