Woah, nice.. can you request which CD?? Yes, people call in their requests but it's no guarantee that yours will be played. They also have something called the drive at 5 during rush hour traffic, you call in your request live and if you're lucky and get through they'll play whatever you want.

That sucks! Over here they play it on the rock station, on Saturday's it's classic rock all day and Sunday nights they'll play an entire cd with no commercials. Tonight was Thin Lizzy, that was a great band also.

Our local radio station Q92 was playing classic rock on Saturday. They played No Rain and the guy says "man, people who bought the record were in for a surprise because this band was rock & blues and everything in between, they are one of the most underated bands in rock and it's a real shame their lead singer died". I thought yeah, people think were hicks up here but we sure know where the music's at. Geez I was real proud of being a hick. Just though I'd let you all know.

Thanks Ryan for letting us know. Very sad news but good to know that he died peacefully. R.I.P. Syd.

I love that jar, good job Ryan. Grandparents do tend to save things which is really rather sweet. My grandma would keep a covered dish of hard candies on the livingroom table, they were so old they were clumped together. She'd say "have a candy" and we'd say no it's ok we're not hungry. Shannon obviously loved his grandma which is also sweet. There's a saying around here that the measure of a man is how he treats his mom and grandma, if he treats them well you've got yourself a good man. On that note I'm gonna say gd'nite.

Glad you're back and had a great vacation and you got to spend some time with your dad and take him places. You sound like you really love him. I lost mine in Aug '95 and I don't know what I'd give to have him back for just 1 day. I'm not spending much time at home now that summer is here. I'm spending a lot of time at camp just enjoying friends, family and nature.
Both you and sonyagirl's fathers deserve a big hug for surviving Vietnam so here's one from Canada. #bearhug#

I was a mental health worker until I could no longer handle it, so I turned a hobby into a home business and now design and sew custom curtains and blinds, not making much money yet but loving it!!!
