I have the tape and you do get a handle on him and it makes his loss even more senseless. Shit, he was here and gone in the blink of an eye. I read somewhere that he was the only stand-up comedian frontman. He made no bones about the fact that he wanted fame but always with tongue in cheek.

Hello Liette, Congrats on your being MOM...other than the quilts that you make , what other Native crafts do you do??? Do you participate in any Native rites ie. sweat lodge, pipe ceremony, or vision quest? ? MML&R Rachel I'm going to a healer on Manitoulin Island, it's a woman and it will be my first time, I "smudge my house", I also "smudge myself'. I use sweetgrass and sage and burn it in a abalone shell At summer solstice I usually go to Indian Bay and strip butt naked and burn sweetgrass and blue sage and blow it to the four winds and swim in pure clean water, nobody goes there it's hard to access by boat. I have lain on dreamer's rock on Manitoulin Island but did not have a vision. Turtles have been a recurring thing in my life and feel that they are my "totem" They are also a big part of my native ancestors creation beliefs. I am not pure bred I'm more french then native. The only thing I've smoked from a pipe is choke, choke take a guess. much love

To all melons out there, we have a lot of talent on this forum and I think our Matt is going to be a Blind Melon related band someday. Anyhoon there's enough melons on here to support his efforts, it's well worth buying his cds and at the same helping him achieve his dream. I have a feeling his next effort will get a lot of attention........... Thanks again Ishy! The song Brad and I did is almost done! Brad laid down a bad ass Bass Track! Matt you're going to go places of that I'm sure.......you deserve it because you've acquired great karma, not as karma on the forum but karma as you've given a whole lot of yourself over the years to this forum.....you've also got the talent & drive to succeed.... #smileyhug#

I see there isn't any new questions, but just want to let everyone know that I'm at camp and just pop in for supplies. Mice took residence over the winter and I'm well dealing with a pretty shitty situation

Thank you. I don't believe in the traditional christian God and the Adam and Eve thing pisses me right off wtf is up with that, women are dirty things that lead men to sin. My ancestry is French, Ojibway and Mic Mac and my beliefs lean more towards Native tradition. I believe that "nature" is sentient and way more intelligent then we are. I think mother nature keeps coming up with new viruses to kill off some of the human parasites that are destroying her. I question whether we are evolving or devolving. I call myself a Humanist first. I'm obviously confused I'm with you sista! RIGHT CLICK SAVE AS (for proof)Thanks for your support Matt I'm glad to know someone elss feels the same. That tune is awesome, is it new? Which cd is it on?
