Glad you are enjoying listening to the interview. I got the tapes from an ebay auction, and Matt was nice enough to convert the cassette to digital format and upload to archive.org. (Thanks, Matt!)

That is a great interview because of how the guys can just explain themselves and not have any time limitations or anything. Those radio interviews around the time that "For my Friends" was out were good but rushed and they couldn't really say everything on those. BTW: I need to figure out how to convert cassettes to MP3 for some old stuff I have on cassette (unfortunately not BM but I could still use the advice). What'd you use Matt?

Well, there are much easier ways to convert then the what I used. I hooked up a standard cassette player to this: But, I also have an external DVD burner that I can use to convert as well.

Thanks man I would just try to do it myself down the line. Thanks for the offer to do it but it's not too important to get done very soon, just curious what you used... I have a lot of tapes to transfer, anyway. But thanks for the help regardless!

... BTW: I need to figure out how to convert cassettes to MP3 for some old stuff I have on cassette (unfortunately not BM but I could still use the advice). ... I just run an audio cable from a cassette player's headphone jack into the mic port on a computer and then use software like Acoustica to split up the tracks.
