Hi Everyone, I check in everyday, but it has been a long time since I have posted. I have few different things I want to share or ask, so I will start with this. I am the proud owner of my first Nikko Blue. She is only about 18 inches tall, but I am looking forward to watching her grow. I have never heard it discussed before, but is anyone else growing these beautiful bushes? Peace!

I don't have any yet, not enough shade in my yard. I do know a little bit about them though.

Oh yessssss! I will take a pic this week with my new camera! Mine is in full sun for part of the day, and some shade for the half of the day. I have been SO happy with it too! All of my neighbors have been getting bouquets from me this summer . I feel so lucky each time I look at it! I have learned a lot about them in the past 2 years. (this is it's second year here): 1> It needs a TON of water! If it is a hot afternoon, and I did not water it that morning, the flowers will droop. But within a half hour or less of watering, they perk right up! 2. They like acidic soil 3. DON'T cut them back your first year unleass you COMPLETELY know what you are doing. The new growth after winter comes from the wood of the bush, even though it looks like it is dead. I water it like crazy in the spring, and I can usually tell what parts of the plant to cut back once it has started to grow. Can't wait to see pics of yours! I think I took pics of mine about a month ago....
