So I've checked out a few of their youtube videos, and i'm loving Travis' voice! They sound like a great band. So it appears they never released any albums for sale, is that correct? It appears to me like there are simply a number of free albums available for download. If this is true, which album or download set would you guys recommend me to check out first?

ok... so i downloaded it and extracted it... i got each song in a .pk file, and each in a wave file. What are these for? do i need the PK files? if not, i'm just gonna delete them and convert the wave's to mp3's since the files are so big right now.

Technically, I guess you would to say that Blind Melon is the one that did a cover of Harmful Belli since Rain Fur Rent has been performing the song since 2004. Actually there are a few different versions of that song by RFR and all of them have a different sound which is what I love about the band so much. They have a lot of music out there, but the one you downloaded is the one everybody seems to like the most. Honestly, I can't get enough of them. There sound is very unique and original. To hear more check them out on myspace. For some reason it won't let me copy the link, but there are two pages dedicated to them. There you will find other versions of Code A16, Compared to What and Harmful Belli. I also love Potion for the Sour, Be My Healer and Room. Enjoy

I might as well listen to the whole thing. I'm quite excited to hear it... i hope the band and the music matches up to the talent of Travis's singing!

Actually, I think Travis fits better with RFR then BM and I have been a melonhead since 1992. Just one mans opinion.

DAMN. i just listened to it in full once. Can't really comment on individual songs seeing as they all blur together as usual on a first run. But overall i really liked the music.
Interesting note as well about Harmful Belli. How'd blind melon decide to put that on the album?

I have to say that I am grateful Travis was with BM even if it was so brief. Since being introduced to his music I probably listen to his stuff more than any other artist lately, even more than BM. I like RFR but the violin gets on my nerves at times, I love it but sometimes it seems to dominate every song, especially on the live recordings. I also love 00-Metro, vastly different than RFR which just shows his flexibility. Both bands would have benefited from better production in the recording process.
