i messaged keath about critinue and his solo stuff about how the recordings are going, and he brought up that he was getting asked abouttrying out. if theres anyone who could, its him. he doesnt sound like travis or shannon exactly, but theres traces. plus he seems to have the attitude, charisma nad personality to fit in well. great voice too. lyrically, i think he could write melon tunes easily. i kinda hope he doesnt though, becuase i lvoe critic and his solo stuff, i hope if he does, its after those releases. but i really think hed be a great replacement

He does have a nice voice. Reminds me of a singer from the 70's, can't put my finger on who though. I'll have to keep thinking about it. After reading his blog, he doesn't really seem to interested though. I'm sure this is an extremly daunting task for the band. Right attitude, right style, right chemistry. I hope they can find somebody. Chris Shinn is still front-runner in my mind. None of the other guys I've seen so far have really set fireworks off for me. Not trying to be negative, it's just how I feel right now.

i know. This was all just a notion. Heath mentioned that there were people he didn't even know talking about him on this forum, prior to this post. i just decided to put it out there and see what people thought. I love the band he is currently in. I wouldn't want to see Criticnue break up. Again, this was just an idea...

could the 70's singer he's reminding you of be the guy in the Guess Who?

could the 70's singer he's reminding you of be the guy in the Guess Who? I relistened to a couple guess who songs, no that isn't exactly who I was thinking of. It actually just hit me as I was listening to his songs tonight: Tracy Chapman. It's uncanny.

This whole audition thing is great! Imagine if the band or the people that try out provide us with links to some of their stuff. We could be exposed to some pretty great music that we didn't know ever existed!
