I just finished watching President Obama get sworn in and listening to his speech. What an amazing man. He is such a gifted speaker and gives me hope for the "Change" America needs. Halleluja no more Bush!!!!!!!!!!

I'm Canadian, but this had great pull on my soul. He IS a great speaker, and his speech was fluid like water. I loved how he described the "west" as a land settled by the world, people from all around & that he looks forward to the day when the world can see the commonality of humanity to look past differences in culture/religion/color. It sounds like such a simple thing, but how come we've gotten it so wrong for so long? He did go on to say that it was just 60 years ago his dad couldn't get served in a diner. We've come this far at least I agree with him totally that the society this day and age has had it waaay too easy, and that it's time to get our hands dirty and put in the work. I'm excited too see what the future holds!

The last thing Avery said to me this morning was "Mom don't forget to record Obama....he's gonna be a big deal today!" So I decided to run home at lunch and watch while recording it for Avery....completely blown away. It doesn't matter who you are....who you voted for....or what your beliefs are.....that was a big freakin deal! I can't wait to watch it with the boys.....I'm hoping the school let the kids watch it. Whether you are 7 or 70.....that was just simply amazing. To see that many people coming together for once particular event....for one moment in history....it gives me a sense of hope. Sorry I rambled....

Took a vacation day to watch this historic day unfold! Completely blown away by this amazing man and his speech..a two box kleenex day! I knew four years ago watching his speech at the Demacratic convention that he'd be our next president. Thank God the last eight years are FINALLY over!! Are we all ready to 'Change'?

;DYes, today is a great day for so many reasons. I think that he is what our country needs to come together. I love how he says how "what we can do" not so much about what he is going to do. I loved his speech, I cried. I know silly! whatever I couldn't help myself. I think he will bring alot of peaceful soutions and that means the world to me. Today we see the 1st african-american and I like to think one day, my children will see the 1st woman in office one day.

Hopefully the Payroll Tax Holiday and the 2009 Stimulas come through... He says he really wants the economy to bounce back... Both of those would help. I'm hoping!

...... I agree with him totally that the society this day and age has had it waaay too easy, and that it's time to get our hands dirty and put in the work..... this i TOTALLY agree with, and include MYSELF in with that society. I see INCREDIBLE amounts of people that *want MORE for doing LESS. *want the easy way out *play the blame game *expect "everyone else" to do stuff for them. *etc.... the first course of action should be to stress RESPONSIBILITY. TODAY is his day... First time he screws something up... the media will brand him an ARSE!... it never ends. ONE man isnt going to FIX everything, just as ONE MAN (BUSH) didnt screw up EVERYTHING. yes i'm excited to see WHAT happens. WHat of the promises are followed through with and WHAT ones arent. In my forecast.... he's gonna come across smelling like roses. why? he's got a congress that is DEMOCRAT, and he's democrat. which makes it a bit easier to GET SOMETHING DONE.... rather than a president that is repub, and a congress of democrats. you are always butting heads and its damned hard to get stuff done. so... GOOD LUCK, and i wish him and US well. .......... on a side note.... it was mentioned about his EXCELLENT speaking qualities. well.... I am not suprised, are you gonna VOTE a [glow=red,2,300]"FUMBLETOUNGE"[/glow] into the presidency?

That would be the best thing to ever happen. Fumble Fingers for Vice Pres... Obama is a great speaker... He's "The Rock" (one of the greatest speakers of all time).... Just close your eyes (picture Obama standing in front of the White House) and listen: Obama should refer to himself in the 3rd person, for every public address.

Great day! Obama is an excellent speaker and I support him 100 %. I just hope all the lazy people who blamed BUSH for everything decide to quite fuckin bitchin and take some initiative. Maybe they are right though ONE SINGLE Person is responsible for our country going to shit...lol oops got a little carried away. Not a Bush supporter but sometimes I believe we all need to do a little extra and that may add up to alot one day. It wont be easy and we have a long road. One man didn't ruin this country and one man wont fix it... GOBAMA and yes he sounds like the Rock!
