Welcome! I enjoyed reading your blog. Thanks for posting those links. I agree that Blind Melon deserves the status of Classic Rock. Their music just keeps getting better as time goes on. it ages like a fine wine if you ask me. #smiliecocktail# And, Mallrats is one of my favorite movies as well. I remember seeing it in the movie theater and I actually ended up on the floor because I was laughing so hard that I couldn't contain myself. I'm a BIG fan of Kevin Smith's flicks. Last night Greg (my hubby - he is also a forum member) and I were watching Mallrats on HBO and we were kind of getting a kick out of how much Jason Lee has changed since Mallrats first came out. It had been a couple years since we'd watched any of those older K.S. flicks like Mallrats or Chasing Amy and we're so used to seeing him now as the character "Earl". I think he was a lot cooler in Kevin Smith's movies...

*Sonya* I agree with those things about jason lee looking different now, time passes through all of us, His head is bigger isn't it? or maybe his forehead, but he is still a great actor and funny also.

Wow...that was beautiful...particularly the part about the shaky "Shannon" dance- he was a shaman of sorts was he not? I loved the capsulization of the lyrics into one sentence of words of wisdom...still learnin' from the Melon!
