thought I should stop by here and greet ya'll. My name is Dawn, and I live in Tulsa, OK. I have three sons, one of whom is 19, married, in the Navy and living in San Diego. My other two are still at home with me. My 13 yr old plays the cello and thinks "my music" is weird. My 4 yr old loves rock n roll and wants to learn to play the guitar. He's bugging me now to buy the new Greater Good cd (I got a demo CD from the band when they opened for BM here) now that it's out. As you can see by my main topics, most of my time is spent being a mom and a housewife. In the evenings, when the day is done, I play World of Warcraft and am the leader of a guild. (If you don't know what that is, PM me and i'll try to explain it). Ahhh the double life!
I love Blind Melon's music on so many levels, but it gives me a nice little mini vacation just when I sit down at night and pop my headphones on.
By the way, that was probably one of the last rock concerts I'll attend without feeling majorly foolish and out of my element, I am so glad I was fortunate enough to get to see them play together again. It was the best concert I've ever been to, and I've been to many many concerts in my old hometown of Miami, FL.
Thanks to the BM Road Crew, and the board administrators for setting all this up and keeping the faith alive! I know your hard work is appreciated by all.
Thanks to all the members of Blind Melon for having the strength to heal, to mend, and to carry on.
