Glen and the boys,
I completely understand if you need to cxl a show due to injury or sickness, but 4 days prior to the show just crushed many a fans dreams. I know i won't make a difference in your careers, but as a vigil goer for 11 years, a loyal fan who saw you numerous times in the past and present, bought you guys beers, bought your shirts, bought you cd's, this comes to a shock just due to the lineup, whats makes it any different than the Florida festival, yes those bands were bigger but that radio station that is putting on the festival in st. louis supports you so much, you would have had a great audience, in march when you were here you almost sold out the venue, this festival has about 11k or more going and you would draw so many new fans of a different age, shinedown is playing and i have personally hung out with them on a number of occasions and they have tons of boots of you guys and you are heroes to them. I spent 180 on 5 tickets for this show alone just to see you, i agree the other bands are not my taste but you know i found out about you guys in 92 when i least expected it, isn't worth it to see what happens this Sunday, you may gain a fan or two or sell a cd or two, i know my voice most likely won't be heard i was just hoping to show my daughter you guys at least one time in our life at a bigger venue instead of a bar. Sorry for the rant, i know there are so many other cities more worthy of you coming to them, but i guess this is my anger/passion for you all. you have nothing to loose by going to the show and everything to gain. Trust me I'm sure the radio station will not be so kind with your decision and that sucks because they love you guys, i am not speaking for them but i have heard them do something shady things at times. please reconsider, your off the next day hell i will make you all freakin dinner for free or something. its like the mastercard commercial:
$2,000 in bootlegs, cds, shirts
1,000 in concert tickets over the past 15 years
180 for first concert with family to see melon
disappointment- cxling four days for really no reason

i do love you all beyond your imagination, just a bit angry, thanks for listening and keep up the great job you are doing.
