Personally, I cant believe death penalty still exists in the 21st century.. Murdering people to show them that murder is wrong? Sounds hypocritical to me... Plus, if Saddam is bad enough that he deserves to be killed, then why the hell is Bush still alive?
Whatever.

the reason bush is still alive is because he's sneaky about what he's doing and he hasn't directly killed his own people. What saddam hussein did was use biological warfare on his own country, thats like bush bombing the la riots or something and it's not like we were the only ones who wanted him dead if you read the news reports it says people danced around is body in celebration, now I know thats fucked up but think about it how much do you have to be hated for that to happen.

I Agreed completely with you Gabby, I can't believe death penalty still exists, personally I think this is inhuman, this is all I can say in this matter.

Maybe I'm a little old-fashioned.... but I'm all for it. I like the old "eye for an eye" approach. I think if a guy kills somebody, we should kill him back. It's only fair to return the favor.

To some extent I agree with you, but the only trouble is that Saddam killed masses of people. Therefore in my opinion he got away way too easily. His own life is a small price to pay for the killings of many... he should have been jailed for life - he'd have to suffer then.

I doubt he would've suffered much, most likely he would have written a book and continuously appealed his sentence

I agree with Gabbee about murder penalty. I think being bad to the person who was bad to you is showing you're no better than she/he is. Cause you're doing just the same, right?! Except that maybe you're not the one who started but this is not a good excuse in my opinion. Then again I'm not saying I'm perfect and if I had a non-armed Hussein before me I don't know what I'd do, lol. Yesterday I saw two women in a store, both wearing a big fur coat and I won't even go into details how they acted... (btw, I saw a video not long ago (that I also posted in a bulletin) how they take animals out of their skin while their still ALIVE and they don't even kill them right away after that) I swear I felt like I'll hit them any second. So I rather just passed quickly cause I don't think it would solve the problem. Anyways, I think Bush is no better than Hussein was and I wonder if he (and everyone who's behind him) didn't kill his own people on 9/11 but yes, in a very sneaky way. I'm not saying he did but I think it's very possible seeing all the strange facts about it and proves...off topic I know. It just makes me nervous to think about all those bastards who want to rule the world so I guess I need to let it out. And although Bush is sneaky, I still can't belive that so many people belive and trust him enough to vote for him! It's something I just can't understand.
PEACE DAMMIT!

Yeah I know you have this compliacted voting count system and there was talk about corrupted elections too...but still, even if 40% people voted for him...it's crazy. Let's say I understand the first time they did. Maybe they didn't know that much how he is. But for the second time! This is something I can't understand.

I feel strange about the whole thing, I'm sad, I'm confused...something about it just isn't right, I'm not saying he didn't deserve punishment, but I don't see how hanging him is right.
