I had the good fortune to see UT in Philadelphia in 2000. It was a small club and it was the first time I ever met one of the guys. LONG story but CT walked past me and all I could think of to say was, "Um, uh, DUUUUUHHHH!!!" I did however find the stones to approach Brad who I'd emailed with a bit (CT too but I think he stunned me by his close proximity and natural Melony goodness. ) and he was just THE most gracious gentleman I have ever met...not that my rock star list has more than 3 or 4 names on it! Anyway, after I showed him my BM tattoos and explained the one for the band he hugged me like he'd known me forever. He made me feel SO special and it's a memory I not only treasure but will never forget! UT's music was/is incredible. The writing is spectacular and Chris Shinn has a beautiful voice that has some Shannon-esque qualities and I could see why Brad and CT wanted to work with him. Oh, side note....I was freaking out so my sister made me drink 2 or 3 glasses of wine. When I got up to the stage and was literally 6 feet from them, I actually threw up in my mouth! Diana + #smiliecocktail# + #smiliecrazy# + members of #blindmelon_01# = #throwup# #lmao# It's a great story to tell my grandkids someday right? #bigblush# Anyway, great record, great live band, guys were sweet as hell, oh, and Brad asked if he could take a picture of me and my sister. I almost crapped myself! I think it's cause we play off each other and get really crazy so she busted my stones all night long! Diana #hoonsmiley#

any info on the status of the new UT record? I think everyone is curious... I talked to Brad about it last night. They are having trouble with iTunes at the moment. As it stands now, early May.[/quote] I can wait till may...i think... any idea what the track list will be like? i mean how many songs were actually going to be for the 2nd record and how many were from the 1st sessions. Thanks in advance for the info!

OMFG!!! I just spent like 20 minutes fucking around with Rhapsody and have come to the conclusion that whoever created this service is a tard. First the servers fail so I can't listen to a clip of any of the songs, then I decide to give the "free trial" a shot. Of course after I jump through the hoops of opening a account the download server doesn't work and for some reason they decided not to allow mirrors of the software but only to let people link to their broken servers. So I decide to give it one more try and attempt to sign up through real.com instead of the direct website, they want more information from me than the original site including a CC number for the "free trial" I like how bands are using the internet to their advantage by releasing their albums on it and getting the word out; but sometimes I wish they would just directly sell them off their site instead of relying on some money hungry company to sell it for them.

I agree with you bogo. When will we be able to purchase a hard copy of the album? Any word on that Matt? #Supermatt#

We were finally able to iron out the wrinkles @ the UT MySpace page. It's been updated.. Free download available as well. www.myspace.com/unifiedtheorylumaThe band isn't sure if there is enough interest to spend money on producing hard copies.

5 cuts that didnt make the first, and 5 cuts from the 2nd.
My notes are a little hard to read, but I believe that's correct... Unless 15 Hits was recorded for the 2nd album. I question that, because they use to play the song live during their tour. But, if it was... then:
4 cuts that didn't make the first, and 6 for the second.
