I don't know if there's any Healy fans out there but I loved this guy. I saw him at a club in Toronto a few years back and was blown away. Master rhythm & blues player. The cancer that took his eyesight at one finally killed him at 41. RIP Jeff

Oh no. . . he was the first person that I ever saw play the slide-lap-guitar.

I agree a talent but Matt WHY did you JUST watch roadhouse. just awful filmmaking. Not a Swayze fan and I know he has cancer unfortunately but he was very funny with Chris Farley on SNL.

An amazing musician and person! I'm sorry I never got to see him live. Absolute Blues Legend.

I never got a chance to see him either... my dad saw him lots of times and even had the chance to meet him, shake his hand and talk for a second which is pretty cool... he said he was a really nice guy and was so into the music. I went to the Steve Earle show at Massey Hall and Steve dedicated the show to the memory of Jeff Healey and proceeded to play a passionate My Old Friend The Blues... I think that was pretty cool of him. this is truly sad... RIP Jeff Healy
