So while I was at waka fest I saw this guy that was the most amazing show I've ever seen, he goes by the name "That 1 guy" and he made his own instrument. Withought seeing a picture its extremely difficult to describe it. Here is his myspace it has a video so I don't have confuse y'all trying to explain it. www.myspace.com/that1guyI bought the dvd had him sign the case and the actual dvd as well as getting a picture with him. Once I get the interenet back at home I'm gonna rip a certain song of the dvd to post it, don't worry about it being copywrited I asked the guy personally about it and he said to spread the music as far as I can #rock453# after your done listening to a few songs if your like me your gonna want a cd (the dvd is better though) here is his site www.that1guy.com/

I wonder if he's a Rush fan... I didn't see it listed in his influences on his MySpace page...

so I went and saw him last saturday and proceeded to dance so much it felt like I lifted weights or something. I was hopping to get some pics cause my friend almost always brings his camera but he forgot this time, theres no way I could take any pics I'm always hoping around so much the pictures would be horrible and I would probably end up breaking the camera. Anyways I found a video of the show and a few pics that I wanted to share with y'all. about 40 secs in when you hear someone yell "shut the fuck up!" thats my friend yelling at the people behind us. The audio isn't too great especially when he starts wailing on the bass part of his "magic pipe" but it gives you an idea of the energy of the show. Here are a few pics I got from a fellow that 1 guy fan Just him doin' his thing in these. Him playing the magic boot This is him still playing the magic boot but the pics are all distorted, I though they looked cool enough to post though if he come anywhere near you do yourself a favor and go see him, I got my ticket for 9 bucks before the day of prices kicked in.

I actually saw him play a couple weeks ago. He's original I'll give him that. The show was great, but I'm not that into his music. He kinda belongs in a circus sideshow, and his lyrics are just as out there as everything else about him. As far as guys playing weird homemade instruments goes he ranks way up there with Future man from bela fleck & the flecktones.

I have both his studio albums and though they aren't top 40 hits or anything I still love them. But the live dvd/live shows is where its at fo sho #rock#
