I bought this album yesterday for no reason other than it had cool artwork, it's odd but I'm really enjoying it...anyone heard their stuff?

I havent got the album yet cause i have bought so many other albums lately - A.M., Raconteurs (Saboteurs), Arctic Monkeys and Guns N Roses... But im sure to get it soon... Give it a few more listens... They are going to be BIG, ABSOLUTELY HUGE!!!

Seems like they were all over TV this past weekend... on one of the shows they were being compared to 80's music, I haven't heard them yet, maybe I'll do a search on MySpace.

Never heard of them. And, may I add, that is one silly-ass name. That reminds me of Sebastian wanting to call his Supergroup Band "Savage Animal"....
Hello 1983! Nice to see you again!
I'll also check MySpace.

Yea, they do have that 60s sound... It's like Hendrix meets QOTSA....And then, a little bit of Sabbath thrown in. Not too shabby at all (only judging by the song "Dimension"). The singer reminds me A LITTLE BIT of the guy from Under the Influence of Giants.

There's only one song I don't like on the album (apple tree), it's a bit like Jet, which I hate. It's not anything groundbreaking, just very well-written songs. I can imagine they may do a Darkness though, be massive after the first album because of their retro but well formed sound, then fade out. I hope not, but I can see it happening.
Oh & Matt I don't really like the name either, they are supposedly pagans so I guess it goes with them though.

I hate the name completely, but still, they definately make up for it in sound... For you guys checking them out, download these three, which have all been released in Australia...
- Mind's Eye - Woman - White Unicorn
Trust me... You will love these songs...

I heard the song Woman this past weekend, These guys sound just like another band I listened to back when I was 15. The band was DiamondHead , made famous by the way over-rated Metalli-something, they originally recorded Am I Evil, the Prince and Helpless, all covered by YEAH_YEAHhhh Hetfield and the boys.
