A couple of months ago i was out shopping with my mom and we were walking to the car which was parked near the front of the store. as i was getting in and my mom was putting the bags in the back, I looked up and there was a guy sitting in a chair in front of the store. i think my mom and i saw him at the same time. his clothing was really distinct...especially his hat which is what caught my attention. he looked like he literally walked out of the 90's. seriously. he was wearing a flannel plaid shirt, blue jeans with holes in the knees, and a black top hat...it was so random. he saw me at that moment and looked me right in the eye and smiled and he had the brightest blue eyes i had ever seen. i couldn't even look at him for long he was so gorgeous and that's when i realized he looked EXACTLY like Shannon Hoon when he had long hair. He had the same color hair as him and it was in a pony tail. he kept smiling and my mom said i should go talk to him but i was too afraid so we left. he actually looked about the same age shannon was when the first cd came out. i kinda regret it now and i haven't seen him since then. but everytime i go to that store I look for him, because eventually, hopefully, maybe i'll see him again. i'll never forget it. have any of you ever run into any look-a-likes?

I was at a car show in Lincoln, NE last year. I saw a guy with dirty blonde hair in long braids and with a hankie on his head, scruffy facial hair/beard, gorgeous blue eyes, a faded tie-dye t-shirt, and holey faded jeans. He looked so much like Shannon, I had this pathetic urge to cry. I was so fascinated with this guy, that I ditched my dad to follow (stalk) this Shannon look-alike around the show. Poor guy was with his kid and he unknowingly had some crazy bitch watching his every move. Sad. I wanted so badly to stop him and ask him if he knew who Shannon was and/or if anyone had ever told him he looked like him. I was too awstruck to say anything though.

I use to hang out in a bar in New York and some guy used to hang out there as well who looked like a young version of Shannon. Long hair, scruffy face, etc....even my sis, who doesn't listen to the band, use to say when she saw him that he looked like Shannon Hoon.

I wish I had some cool stories like that! Next time you see that guy, definitely go talk to him.

He had a common hippie/rocker type of look going on, so there's probably alot of guys that look like him or very close.

Yeah definately, there are alot of guys that have that look going on, but looking like him is another thing. I'm one of those people that don't get very awestruck often, if i see a Shannon look-a-like i tell him so. And hope he buys me a drink. HAHA!
