It needs to have 'splosions. Lots of 'splosions. The more the better. Yep. And I hear the chicks want to see TTW's wiener. Maybe that should be in it. And a well...a WISHING well. I laughed SO hard at this part!! #lmao#

So far everyone has a lot of great ideas! I have enjoyed reading them and I am also leaning toward them being in the video playing live and maybe black and white. I can't wait to see what they come up with!!!

I think it would be great to mix live and "behind the scenes" footabe of the band to kinda show the band in their new skin ya know? Like all the live footage in color and hte behind the scenes in black and white. I also think, with all due respect, that there should be no reference or images of Shannon. I hope you all get what I mean by that. I just think that any reference or images of shannon may cause others to have the wrong thought about the band continuing on... we think alike hahaha....Nice idea for the video.

As I was driving today an idea popped into my head for the video. I'm not really sure if it is a good interpretation of the lyrics but I liked it. First I thought black and white is definitely a great idea. I thought that the video could open up with an older guy maybe in his 60's or so and he could cross a bridge and head toward a well ( a wishing well of course). It could be an overcast day and the camera could show him pull a shiny penny out of his pocket and toss it into the well. As he tosses it the music begins and we get a POV of the penny falling looking back up at the man. When the penny splashes Travis' voice kicks in with the lyrics and instruments all playing. I thought then we could have flashbacks of the band interwined with the older man's life. We could have him battling a terminal illness such as cancer and show scenes with a doctor at the hospital. The song seems to talk about an up and down battle of some sorts maybe drug abuse but for this example cancer. It would be great to show him holding his wife's hand when that lyric comes "Take my hand once again." Also, add family members and friends to it and have him trying to discover a better quality of life. You could end the video with the old man showing signs of recovery and smiling with the idea that he has found a better quality of life and is living for tomorrow. Possibly even returning to the well at the end of the song. What do you guys think? Just an idea from how I might interpret it. I guess it may have sounded better in my head. Oh yeh I also picture the scenes with the band maybe on a back porch of a ranch style house or something.
