You shouldn't say stuff like this, it makes you come off as an idiot.

Part of the Policy - Under Flaming/Flame Wars[/u] There are people who try and start flame wars by posting flame bait, comments which are designed to start a fire or fan the flames. Well, I suppose it's something to do, but really, they should get out more and stop wasting everyone's time.

Yeah, I'm not one to jump to conclusions about statements like this anymore. It's burnt me in the past here, where I felt bad about things I said in retort. My suggestion is, Matt, maybe go ahead and lock this thread b/c I just know the shit is gonna start flying fairly soon, which just breeds senseless negativity that has no place here.
On the upside, I liked the cover of Change, it was different and pretty cool actually.

Living in Tampa all of my life I am well aware of this guy and his horrible reviews, and he wouldn't know good music if he was hit in the head with a symbol.

I thought that was a pretty cool cover. Sometimes, when bands do covers and try to pull them off "EXACTLY" like the originals, they come across as trying to hard. But yet, when bands do their own "interpretation" of another bands songs, people get bent outta shape or feel like they're making fun of the songs. I grew up a metal head and now I'm a folksinger. I've done my own folk renditions of Black Sabbath's "Country Girl" and even once covered "Remember Tomorrow" by Iron Maiden. It was my way of paying homage to the songs I grew up with but doing them in the way that I play now as an adult.
I look at it like this... these guys play electronic music and more than like grew up listening to Blind Melon. This could almost be viewed as a "tribute" in the utmost sense of the word. A nod to a band that they love yet doing it in their own way...
I think it's brilliant.
