Hello All. Nate here.
Try to make it quick. I have been a fan since the beginning. turned on by an old friend who has become a rather accomplished Author (Greg Bottoms). My only live experience was march of 1993 The Floodzone in Richmond, VA. Tremendous. Although I do remember Shannon threatening to stomp a guy who had been pushing a woman. Upon moving to Florida after College with my now wife we got tickets for the Cocoa Expo Nov 11, 1995. I use to videotape rocket and shuttle launches in Cape Canaveral and I remember a friend who I worked with and was in a band with (we covered skinned) came into work the night of a launch and told me Shannon had died.
That said my appreciation only grew over the years.
We made the pilgrimage to Shannon's Grave while driving cross-country in may 2000.
I saw Unified Theory in small club the night before Thanksgiving 2000 in Boston. Awesome. The few fans that were there sang no bidness for Brad. I saw sparticle in 2003 OK. Rogers was cool got pics.
I started collecting everything and anything these guys played on or produced. Amy corriea,American minor, UTIOG,etc you get it.
I have managed to amass pretty decent collection.
Soup LP, Galxie Red vinyl, etc.
I also got a couple DVDs from the old BlindmelonDVD site. These are fantastic.
Much Music and Woodstock in there entirety, With a wealth of bonus stuff. Is that guy on this site? IF so thanks again.
I welled up like many of you probably when I saw that first publicity still from wishbone with Travis and the boys.
Saw the show at Harpers Ferry, Boston in October and Friday night in Hartford. trying to figure out schedule for rest of the year to see what other shows I can catch.
again, I have been here quite bit and figured it was time to sign up.
If you see me at a show I will have on my blue galaxie work shirt.
