Just want to stop in and say hi.
My name is Jon. I am from Washington State. I'm been a long-time Melonhead, despite being only 23, and it not always being the popular choice. I have always been very musical, and the stuff that was around when I was growing up is what has really stuck with me. That being said I am also a huge Alice in Chains fan. So as you can imagine the last couple years have been awesome for me. And it looks like we have just got the ball rolling. Hopefully, both bands will continue for years to come.
I'm Redsand187 all over the net. I'm a lurking member of many forums across the internet, and have been for probably at least 10 years, so maybe some of us have crossed paths before.

Welcome to the forum Jon ;D I hope you like it here... it's a great place. Also, there are many members here, including me, who like Alice In Chains too, so you're in good company! Welcome to the forum! Haven you been at the Blind Melon DC show on March 3rd? Best show ever! Jon's from Washington State Barb, not DC (if that's the reason why you thought he went to the DC show). Although Blind Melon played in Seattle yesterday, and are playing there tomorrow

Wait a minute, didn't you use to post on the Jar of Flies forum back in the day? I definitely remember your s/n but I wasn't much of a poster so you won't remember me. Anyway, welcome to the family!!! Hope you were able to catch them in Seattle ;D

Anyway, welcome to the family!!! Hope you were able to catch them in Seattle ;D Yep, I was on JOF back in the day. Wouldshed and Jerry's forums too, as scary as they sometimes were. I'm sure there were others as well. I've been lucky enough to catch loads of the AIC shows over the last 2 years or so, including the very first "rehearsal" show in Seattle, as well as meeting the guys and hearing a little bit of the rehearsal for that show the night before for. I've had some great luck at the shows, got to meet and hang out with all of the guys and got some cool souvenirs. Including making loads of people jealous at one of the shows with VR this past summer when Mike recognized me, walked out grabbed my hand and gave me a pick. I think the people around me were more excited then I was, lol. I did happen to catch the Seattle show. It was awesome. I posted up a few pics in this thread: blindmelons.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=tour&action=display&thread=1206764256&page=1#1207171384
