Hello everyone, I'm not sure how long all of you have been a member of this website, and I know that this is a strange request, but if you've been here a while... My father spent a lot of time on this forum before his death in March 2007. This website and the friends he made here were super important to him, and I've been looking for it for years. I finally found it a couple days ago, and I read through all of his posts and comments that I could find. I know it's a long shot that any of you remember him since it's been almost 11 years, but if you happen to, I would love to hear any memories you might have of him. Thank you, and I look forward to hopefully hearing from some of you.
Hi Raina Larson, Yes I do remember speaking with your father, we were in an obscure chatroom. It was a vigil and Matt, myself, Sonya, Bumcakes, Barbare were partying it up, your dad kept pressing something that kicked him out of the chatroom so he'd buzz me and I'd let him in again. I really liked him, I made him a tee shirt you might have seen him wearing he was so proud of it. We had a lot of fun, Matt mooned us, Bumcakes drank till she got sick and then drank some more. It was pretty special. Your dad had suffered really severe injuries as I understood it riding a quad. When we found out he'd passed we were all in shock, could not believe it. He was a pretty active member of the forum he loved Blind Melon it really spoke to hime. It was truly tragic and I'm so sorry you lost him at a young age. Love ishy.

Hi! Yes, it was a quad accident when he was young that gave him the injuries, and it obviously impacted the rest of his life. I'm not even a little bit surprised that he kept causing trouble in a chat room. He really liked to get under people's skin. It seems like so many people on here loved talking to him, and I'm so glad that I finally found this website after so many years and was able to reach out. Sometimes I can't believe it's been 11 years either, it's crazy to think about sometimes. Thanks so much!
patzeller: ive seen the band in MN in 2015, Denver (home) in 2016 and last night in Chicago. Despite Brad missing, the bands chemisty was the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome awesome show. Guess I’ll be heading to Edmonton in June!

jaakko: Hi there! I´m new here! Straight to the question... Is there any possibilities that Blin Melon would tour somewhere in europe someday? I need to see and hear my all time favourite band live before I die. Do I need to fly to U.S.A?

crobar: If you watch the video on youtube for "Change" at woodstock '94, a dude is welcomed out on stage to play the lead harp. Shannon thanks him but you can't hear the name. The guy killed it and I'd like to know who he is/was. Any help is appreciated.

lisa: Blind melon take me back to a really happy time of leaving school and having the world at my feet. I am about to watch the doc. I am looking forward to seeing what the band thought of history being made and the creation of timeless music. RIP Shannon
