Before I say anything, if anyone else knows better, please weigh in. That said, it was pretty common in their heyday for Blind Melon to throw a verse of the Allman Brothers' Midnight Rider into Holyman when performing live (as well as Traffic's Dear Mr. Fantasy into Change.) I don't know that they ever played either cover in it's entirety. The snippet you have here sounds like the recording from the Roseland Ballroom in NYC, February 17, 1994. The whole show can be heard or downloaded here: archive.org/details/blindmelon1994-02-17.flac16I may be wrong about the source, but it's definitely a section of Holyman which they resume before the clip cuts off.
