Hi all I am new to this forum. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Native American from Hualapai Reservation in Arizona. I have been listening to Blind Melon since I was 10. I never really knew what they sang about until i got into High school. I was addicted to drugs and was at the low point in my life and listened to their albums alot. The one song that got me thru all those bad stormy days when I wanted to just give up and go back to wut I was doing was "change". Listening to that song over and over got me thru. I am still here today and listen to them everyday, I have nico on my ipod and listen to that everyday as well as the new album. I am currently going through another change of life right now and am still going strong listening to their music helps. The lyrics relate in a way that I never could articulate myself. Shannon going through his own struggles has shown the world his feelings and helped others along the way like me. I am grateful to still be here and continue to still be even though am on another battle with my own demons. I wasnt sure that i wanted post but I used to be a member lke 10 years ago when they helped me through that last time I had registered as a member a while ago... I found my way back..the site has changed but I have been reading all other fans posts and amazed how many people Shannon and the band have influenced around the world. Its cool and I am glad to have a place to go to share my story and hope to make new friends that understand my obsession or love for the music anyway. Thanks Much love.....RIP Shannon.
patzeller: ive seen the band in MN in 2015, Denver (home) in 2016 and last night in Chicago. Despite Brad missing, the bands chemisty was the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome awesome show. Guess I’ll be heading to Edmonton in June!

jaakko: Hi there! I´m new here! Straight to the question... Is there any possibilities that Blin Melon would tour somewhere in europe someday? I need to see and hear my all time favourite band live before I die. Do I need to fly to U.S.A?

crobar: Anyone know who played the harmonica lead in the song "change" at woodstock '94?

crobar: If you watch the video on youtube for "Change" at woodstock '94, a dude is welcomed out on stage to play the lead harp. Shannon thanks him but you can't hear the name. The guy killed it and I'd like to know who he is/was. Any help is appreciated.

lisa: Blind melon take me back to a really happy time of leaving school and having the world at my feet. I am about to watch the doc. I am looking forward to seeing what the band thought of history being made and the creation of timeless music. RIP Shannon
