Hey. I just joined. I'm a huge Blind Melon fan, have been for years. I got to see a ton of shows back in the day, including Shannon's last show in Houston. :-( I saw some other recent shows around here in NC, including some Unified Theory.
Anyway, several years ago, the band was divesting itself of it's musical equipment it seems. Brad was selling things from the band's touring days, and I bought a nice 6' drum trunk. It's navy blue, says BLIND MELON in black lettering all over it, and has several shipping labels.
My goal was to always take the casters off it, put some glass on top and make a nice table for the man-cave, which would have a rock and roll memorabilia theme. Well... 2 kids later, that hasn't come to pass. I'm probably 10 years from having a house with a man-cave at this point, and the drum trunk is in my garage and as a result I've never been able to park my car in there.
I have a few options: 1) I was going to contact Glen Graham and see if he wanted to buy it back. I have no ideas how to get in touch with him. 2) Sell it outright to someone. 3) Ebay.
Welcome! I'm a huge fan too, I've got a big room and everywhere I could paint the lyrics of blind melon songs, I did. Now my room is all Blind Melon painted. Even on the ceiling, there is standing the song Sleeplyhouse, which I always read before I go to sleep.
I have decided to sell the trunk. It is up on ebay if anyone is interested.... it's not inexpensive though. I wish I could keep it. But I paid a lot of money for it and never used it as I intended to. So I just need to sell it.
patzeller: ive seen the band in MN in 2015, Denver (home) in 2016 and last night in Chicago. Despite Brad missing, the bands chemisty was the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome awesome show. Guess I’ll be heading to Edmonton in June!

jaakko: Hi there! I´m new here! Straight to the question... Is there any possibilities that Blin Melon would tour somewhere in europe someday? I need to see and hear my all time favourite band live before I die. Do I need to fly to U.S.A?

crobar: Anyone know who played the harmonica lead in the song "change" at woodstock '94?

crobar: If you watch the video on youtube for "Change" at woodstock '94, a dude is welcomed out on stage to play the lead harp. Shannon thanks him but you can't hear the name. The guy killed it and I'd like to know who he is/was. Any help is appreciated.

lisa: Blind melon take me back to a really happy time of leaving school and having the world at my feet. I am about to watch the doc. I am looking forward to seeing what the band thought of history being made and the creation of timeless music. RIP Shannon
