Hey Rachel, any update on whether or not they are going to let you tape the show? I talked to the venue finally and they said that the bands management has to give written consent to the entertainment company that booked the show. I let Brad know, so hopefully it is not too late. I know he is a very busy man...... |

Cool! I'll be looking for the fellow melonheads! Can't wait! Anyway, anyone have any idea how hard is it to meet the guys and/or get autographs? Have a copy of Soup, vinyl, and would love to get some j hancocks on it. If this show is anything like they've done in the past it is very easy to meet the guys. They are very down to earth and humble as can be. |

My first ever melon show. The drive from Michigan was so goddamn worth it. Front row? Holy shit. I think I invented a new way to soil myself. I got a ton of pictures if anyone wants some just message me. Some of them are even half way decent.

What an amazing show! For someone who has been waiting since 95 to them live, my expectations were not only met, but exceeded! Band is super tight! Travis sounds great! Met theguys after the show, and they coundn't have been any nicer. What a great night! Attachments:

Just so everyone knows that may be looking forward to my audio recording of Blind Melon last night......it didn't happen. I got in & set up my gear only to have the lady in charge come tell me to take it down and take it out to my car 10 freakin minutes b4 the band went on. I told her to go ask the band and she told me that they said no, which was a bold face lie as Brad and Glen both said she came back and asked them and they said yes. ( as they always do). So I was unable to tape due to the venue being ignorant, if they didn't want me to tape in their venue they should have just told me that in the first place and I would have respected their stand on the issue. I found it to be quite rude for them to lie to me and tell me the boys said no when they didn't. Anyhoon, besides that I had a blast at the show... Thank you to Blind Melon for all the ♥ they show me always. It was so nice to meet a bunch of Melonheads in person I've know from the internet for so long and to see all my friends that I have known too!!!!!

My first Melon show as well. Had the time of my life. It was great to meet all those that I did. I bought one of the shirts, I'll post a picture on here soon.

That was so super amazing!! I went up on stage & sang with the guys for Mouthful for the harmony...it was totally spur of the moment & he asked if someone would do it & I readily agreed...it was awesome!!!
Since I was using Brad's mic, the sound went into his ears...I wish I could've heard myself, I'm pitchy & all over the place but it was cool as hell & I totally didn't care in the moment!!!
I gotta put my pics on flickr or some photoshared place & then you guys can see the pics I got.
