Hey lovely melon people!

Thought I'd make a thread dedicated to everything related to Spain shows and ask who's gonna be there in November?

As for me, I don't know yet but I'll try! And I hope they add more shows in Europe.

It would be wonderful to take a melon trip again!

The so-called European tour that Blind Melon have promised ever since their return, has never happened and no replies from the bandmembers regarding any more shows in Europe (this time around) have been answered. So barbara, my advise would be to GO - this might be your last chance.

Although i'm a little disappointed with the above and in general the way things have been handled during the last couple of years I am happy to say that i am finally going to see the band live for the first time ever. It almost didn't work out, but luckily i managed to move around some workdays in Norway.

I missed out on seeing the band in 1995 (seattle show) due to Shannon's death a few weeks prior. So 17 years down the road.... never thought this was going to happen.
I already bought tickets (Madrid show) and flights. Now, all i need is for the band to show up

hey ,srecno, i will fly to barcelona ( from vienna ) to see them live ,again ...you are from slovenia ? not far away. the flights vienna-barcelona are really cheap . check it out . maybe it´s cheaper than to go there fom ljubljana.:-)

Yep, I'm in Slovenia... I live on the coast so very close to Italy (and quite far from Vienna) and I usually take Ryanair flights from Trieste or Venice. There are cheap Ryanair flights from Trieste to Barcelona which is great!

But I'm hesitating about Barcelona cause I've been there before and even though I absolutely loved it, I would rather go somewhere I haven't been yet, we'll see...

Let me post to say I will definately be going to Barca!!! I will bring a bunch of guys with me!! Awesome to have you guys playing in Europe again. PLease also try AMSTERDAM this time!!!! You guys have been there before, and it would be a bloody shame if you would not give it a try. I recall Christopher having played here with his other band in a small venue. I could easily call out 2 venues that would perfectly suit Blind Melon and the ambiance! And as a bonus, I could hook you up with Jan Douwe Kroeske. Blind Melon knows the guy, because he mixed your 2 meter session in the early 90'.... Anyway, once you guys were in Milano some years back, I was in contact with JDK and he wanted to dedicate a radiosession to promote the for my friend album.... unfortunately Blind melon management was not interested..... :S and hence no Amsterdam stop over! You could reconsider! In anyway, 7 nov I'll be in Barca, maybe you can play Amsterdam on 4th November on my birthday! yay! Melon forever!
