Finally I ll be at the vigil this year. Just bought my ticket out of Lisbon to indiana for the 23 Sep. Really looking forward to know you all melonheads. For shore it wil be one in a life time experience and I ll share my new blind melon tattoo with you. Thanks for Gabbee that is giving me all the support (in portuguese  ) and information about hotels , trains and everything that will make my journey easier... See you all in Dayton. This vigil is one of the many reasons that made me want to move to the States, you know, to be closer..MD is not that close but closer than France  ...So get ready to practice! And just so you know, I am Italian so if you want to practice that too... |

I am heading there for the first time this year with a good friend of mine. Should I bring anything specific, guitar? Whats it like and days and times, Im assuming its the weekend of the 24th of September but you know what they say about assuming. Please if anyone whos been could share the specifics we would really appriciate it and Thank You!

You would be correct in the weekend. It is always the closest Saturday to Shannon's Bee Day. Bring your guitar, bring your singing voice, bring yourself, and mostly bring your love for Shannon and all else falls into place......
