Can someone please ask either Brad, Glen, Christopher, or Rogers why the complete shows from the two live takes off of the masters have not been released?
In the book, it states that Shannon and the band recorded all their shows. On the masters album, the two live tracks "soak the sin" and "deserted" feature unique extended jams with perfect sound quality. What happened to the rest of the show? Is there anyway BM can release those to separate shows to fans?
I feel like there is still a lot of interesting stuff out there that has not been released because it may not be up to the quality of the band in their opinion - speculation. I really want every great recording Shannon ever made and I guess I'm just frustrated bc he was stolen from us before creating all the music he had to create.
I've also been told there are acoustic versions of vernie. Where?

Ok, it goes like this... Yes we recorded many shows, at least 200, on DAT - that is , live to 2-track straight off the front of house console. I don't know who has those tapes but since they do exist it is not impossible that we could release some of them in one form or another at some point. Currently there are no plans to do so.
That's the word.

Thanks Glen!
And, here is a message from Rogers:
"It's my understanding that a lot of these DATs were either in bad condition (unplayable) or had totally unlistenable digital clipping. I'll look into it, but as far as I can remember, there were problems with most of it. Never you worry, though, for in the not too distant future we will drop the motherlode on you, with the film Colleen Hennessey is working on with Danny Clinch. I spoke with people involved with the production a week or so ago, and it seems the band should have a cut of the film to look at sometime in the summer. People who I have a lot of confidence in are very excited about how itis progressing, which leads me to be excited as well...I'm excited to see Shannon again....Sregor"

This is one major reason I love this forum. We get answers to questions straight from the band, who else does that!?!? Thanks to both Glen and Rogers.

I have a question along the same lines. There is great video on you tube from 2 shows in 1992. The Ritz...NYC April 24, 1992...Dear ol Dad and Irving Plaza ...NYC...October 19, 1992...Tones of Home. From the fact that there are multiple cameras I assume they were professionally shot. So my question is, where is the rest of the show?
