I wonder if this is the band that he will be releasing an album with. From the myspace it looks like they still need a drummer. Hope to see them find some success. All I heard so far was Cities and I dig it! Though I will keep bitchin about a physical album of his solo shit until I get it!

Damn his vocals are amazing! Must say he is right up there with Shannon as my favorite singer. Shannon's voice was so unique and something about Travis' really speaks to me...

I can't believe I am going to say this but I don't like it. That page has been up since March 2009, but it is the first time I have seen it. This is just a guess, but to the best of my knowledge this is not his new project.

Definitely sounds like the type of music he's most interested in creating..

I'm confused. There is a total of 9 songs with only 4 having vocals. The first two aren't bad. The third I don't like and the fourth is an old Travis song by a different name which I can't remember because is my least favorite song that he ever put out. The last five are all instrumental. He is listed as vocals only and from what I can hear that sounds right but I can't believe that Travis would not some musical input. Was this a project that didn't work out? What Travis just a voice for hire? hmmm???

I've only given them a brief listen. The tracks with vocals aren't bad but the instrumentals are monotonous, I can definitely hear the influences they list on their myspace page. I'd prefer to see him stay in the direction of his solo work. A lot of his recent songs could benefit from better engineering in the recording process, especially his vocals.

Sources tell me this not Travis's new band. It was a project he was doing a while back before deciding it was not the direction he wanted to go.

Hello,
Someone told me there was a thread on here about my short lived project with Travis. I thought I would just give you clarification on what it was and offer two of the songs that we did together (Cities and Echo Burn) to anyone who actually wanted them.
All the songs that you heard on the site were just rough ideas and nothing official. We had a long way to go before we had a finished project. Cities and Echo Burn were demos we recorded last year. At first my friend and I did all of the music and we emailed the songs to Travis to do the vocals. All of the other instrumentals were just song ideas that hadn’t been arranged and we were unsure if they would ever turn in full fledge songs since they were recorded before we were working with Travis. We wanted to incorporate some of Travis’s current solo work and previous band work. That is why there were rough recordings of Precautionary Tales (which is a song he wanted to work on) and Minus Zero (Sorry, I don’t remember the original title of the song). After we got a drummer we started to practice with Travis as a full band. We were going to do Semester A, a song from 00 Metro, plus new material.
Travis was working with Eli (Warnwulf) at the same time he was working with us. He ultimately chose to pursue that project. We parted ways on good terms and I wish him the best of luck. He is a very talented singer song writer.
