Love them all... Walk will always be one of my favorites... But, Car Seat has always been my number one pick for the Soup Album.

Galaxie has always been one of my favorites because I relate to the song's message, but I voted for St. Andrew's Fall because that song sometimes haunts my dreams. The music of that song just seems to reach something deep inside. What's ironic is that the first time I heard it, I didn't really care for it, with all the howling. It wasn't until later when I really listened to it and discovered what it was about that I started to "get it".
PS - yes Matt, Car Seat is my runner-up favorite, for much the same reason as SAF.

This album is like fine wine, getting better and better with time. It is a very unique album from a very creative period in music history. I've always listened to it as one piece of work. Just put it on and hit play. I vote for 'New Life'.

I voted for Galaxie. Just because you stick in the cd and there it is. And I love the chorus. Although I think I prefer the single version without the extended intro bit so it just kicks right in.

Well it was tough because I love every song but I went with Mouthful of Cavities because it is so freakin awesome with Shannon's vocals and also my girl, Jena on background vocals! I listen to "Soup" almost every day turning people on to it that have never heard Blind Melon's "other songs" besides No Rain.

Aww! It's so hard to choose just one! >.< But anyway, I chose St. Andrew's Fall. It just has such a happy mood that drops. And it seems to go on forever. It's such a wonderful piece. I just have good memories with this song. Same here!

Indeed! I made a CD-R of both Soup and Nico and I cut off the intro to Galaxie for it (I had to remove some things to make it fit in 80 minutes). It sounds much better that way.

Car Seat, no question... the album is flawless, but Car Seat is just SO out of left field, it just seems to capture the mood of the band soaking up the musical influences of New Orleans, and i have yet to hear anything else like it...

I'm going to have to go with St. Andrews Fall and Mouth Full of Cavities as the two best songs on the album. The whole album is amazing though. One of the best albums and definitely the most underrated album of all time!
