It's that time of year again. Vigil 2009 has come and gone and we hope that everyone had a safe journey back home.
Throughout the year we came together and were able to raise $500 to help cover some of Nel Hoon's costs with the annual vigil in celebration of Shannon's birthday! We had donations come in from ALL OVER THE WORLD from regular vigil folks as well as people who had never even heard of it before and they came in all amounts (ranging from $5 to $150). How cool is that? Nel was very touched and asked us to thank you all for your incredible kindness! Melonheads rock!
So now it's time to start thinking about next year. We are opening up the 2010 fund and are counting on your generosity once again. Every dollar helps!

I hope to make it this year as well, for the first time. A few weeks ago, following a road trip I tried to stop and at least see his grave, but the main road in Dayton was completely shut down for construction, and I did not feel like getting lost. Now I at least know how long it takes to get there, and am really looking forward to going back!

I would love to get there this year but as I live in Sydney it's not that easy . I actually will be in Seattle for the second time this year in the middle of October so I just miss out . I will do my best to get there next year and be content with donating some money for Nel instead .
Hope to meet you all next year .
You gotta do your best to decorate this dying day......
patzeller: ive seen the band in MN in 2015, Denver (home) in 2016 and last night in Chicago. Despite Brad missing, the bands chemisty was the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome awesome show. Guess I’ll be heading to Edmonton in June!

jaakko: Hi there! I´m new here! Straight to the question... Is there any possibilities that Blin Melon would tour somewhere in europe someday? I need to see and hear my all time favourite band live before I die. Do I need to fly to U.S.A?

crobar: Anyone know who played the harmonica lead in the song "change" at woodstock '94?

crobar: If you watch the video on youtube for "Change" at woodstock '94, a dude is welcomed out on stage to play the lead harp. Shannon thanks him but you can't hear the name. The guy killed it and I'd like to know who he is/was. Any help is appreciated.

lisa: Blind melon take me back to a really happy time of leaving school and having the world at my feet. I am about to watch the doc. I am looking forward to seeing what the band thought of history being made and the creation of timeless music. RIP Shannon

blindmango: Hi, I'm looking for anyone with info on the promotional Soup Can from 1995. How rare are they? How much do they go for? What was in side? I cant find anything that confirms the contents or special and surprising promotional ingredients. Thanks
