The Galaxie from the song is about his 1964 Galaxie 4 door white, which Chris Thorn now owns. You can tell it's a 64 from the body side moldings and rear moldings. It has not been restored. (Maybe we should ask for some pics from Chris?!) Chris said that it was painted black now. It's the one from Letters from a Porcupine. I own one of Shannon's Galaxie's , a 63 2dr, which I restored. If you go to the Vigil, you'll see it there. (Remind me to let Matt out of the trunk too) I don't know how many Galaxie's he owned, but from my understanding it was around 5. He had a few cars, and of course loved Galaxie's. He actually did have a "Cadillac sittin' in the back".. blindmelon.org/articles/12.htmThe Galaxie from the video is a 65-67 convertible.(you can tell by the "stacked" lights) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_GalaxieCan you tell I love Galaxie's? Hope this helps. #thumb#

I'm glad you here to answer that question Mario! Good timing for being online!
I think next vigil we should see how many Melonheads fit in the trunk!

I'd say we can fit 8 easy in there. And if you know how to drive stick shift I'll let you drive the Galaxie around Mere. I think starting it up last year wasn't enough for ya.

The Hubby is about ready to trade in his 98 Honda that is a stick, maybe he can give me a few lessons first! ;D

LOL...remember how bad my clutch foot was shaking when we took it out Mario? That was such an awesome day! Thanks again for a memory that I will never forget! Hopefully I can make it to the Vigil this fall. I may be taking a job in Traverse City though. We shall see!
