I have never been to a vigil, but I'm interested in going to the next one. Is it too far off to be thinking about it already? Anyhow, just trying to get a discussion going on the next vigil.

I'm pretty anxious about it (because I don't know anyone & I'm kind of a weirdo when it comes to being around big crowds of people..a crazy phobia of mine)...but, at the same time I am excited about it and I just want to do something that I wanna do for a change...and meet some really cool people in the process. By the way, when things stress me out or I feel anxious...now that I have Shannon in my heart ..all I can think of is "Everything'll be OK" and I immediately calm down. It's kind of like Shannon is giving me a pep talk!~just thought I'd share Hi - love the "Shannon pep talk" idea! I went last yr and had only joined the forum the month before - I was pretty nervous but everyone was soooo nice to me! You will make friends - good people here and of course - I'LL BE THERE! lol! cloudy

Thanks cloudy You made me feel better about being so nervous...I'm one of those peole that worries about EVERYTHING...most of it doesn't amount to a "hill of beans" but, the anxiety is still there Hopefully I won't chicken out and I'll be able to meet you there

This year will be my 1st and I am super stoked. Already working on my sitters too. I got 4 munchkins so I have to set it up well in advance. Can't wait to meet everyone. Long live the light of Shannon! #smiliehookah#

I'll be there! Well, provided that a meteor doesn't destroy the earth or something...
It's only 260 days away!

I'm already making plans too. Hopefully this time Ill get to meet some Melons. I decided too late on New Years and enjoyed the show by myself. Would really like to meet some people from here. However, I hope it will be at a show first cause that would be sooner.

Me too, I get a little tongue-tied and nervous in a crowd. I've never been to a Vigil, but I'd like to this year. Everyone on the forum seems so great and welcoming. I have little ones as well and a man who is working his life away, so it would be hard for me to get away. Anyone in MO interested in going? Near Springfield?
