Kansas City show.... right before the end of the song during the closing number , I " believe" he walked up to the mike and said something like this " enjoy Blind Melon". At that time Rogers moved over to Brad and CT; Travis walked off stage ,leaving the four to finish the song. How cool was that? To a fan like myself ; I saw this as a huge compliment to the fans as well as to his own band members.

I checked my recording to see if this part was audible, but unfortunately that part is too muffled, and you can't hear him very well. Basically every night he leaves the stage before the rest of the band. Not only is it a way that he is respecting them, but it also gives them a chance to say, "Hey, give it up for Travis Warren everybody!"
And when it's just the four of them onstage jamming out the end of Time, that's the only time that I see them as Blind Melon without Shannon. It's like a special moment at every show where I feel the abscence of Shannon Hoon. It's not an overly sad sort of feeling, but it's more of a just a way that I choose to remember him these days and recognize at certain times that he has left us.

You said it all man. I feel the same. Sure is a kick in the head for music from a rock band can have an impacting effect on us.

Class act by Travis. He did that at St. Andrew's Hall as well! One week to go can't wait!

I really get emotional during that part of the show, I really feel that it is a time to remember Shannon, Ive closed my eyes before and tried to imagine him there with the rest of the guys on the stage. It gets me all teary eyed.

Even though I am a huge fan of Shannon's I have always liked the ENTIRE band as a whole, because to me those are four of some of the most talented rock musicians in the world playing(especially Glen Graham).

I am somewhat awestruck at the incredible things the guys do such as those mentioned above in order to honor Shannon with endearing gestures. I still haven't had a chance to see them but KNOW I will cry! This band is filled with true, Southern gentlemen and we are blessed to have this 2nd coming!
