CSU is one of my favorite songs ever. I wish I could help with the missing lyrics but I can't make them out. I'll keep trying.

Samantha's Play
There's times to forgive ya there are times to shut the gates there's times to receive there are times to give it away there's love in the shadows you'll have to find the shine there's miracles a brewin but no time for waitin around
a softer shade of gray it doesn't have to be black or white and don't wanna change my mind
there's times you get mad there's times you think all have been solved there's times you will listen and other times you'll cut me off you're sitting in the front row waiting to raise your hands and all of the people in the back have the same plan
completely wipe it clean get rid of all disease and all of it seems so clear
i will know you i will show you i will bring you back i will do most anything to keep you on these tracks everything keeps turning and the turning keeps the time this riddle keeps the livin and the livin keeps this riddle in ya
It's suppertime tonight no one is to be found the television's blarin but there isn't any sound i'm talking back to silence i'm wishin you'd talk back this conversation ends with me in the sack
goodnight goodnight goodnight goodnight goodnight

Whatcha think? "you always seemed to have a grin but timesi wonder how you felt with them (within?)" Still working on the other part. I have no clue. That sounds right to me. I edited my interpretation. I think during the other part he's just singing something to the effect of "la dee da", not actually words. I just cannot make words out of that part. No matter how many times I listen to it I just hear what sounds like "la doo wah" or something similar.

AH! Sonya!! now u got me wanting to figure out Samantha's Play! I don't think it's too tough, a nice sing along all in the first position (Capo 2nd Fret) Beautiful ending is also in on the 2nd fret; i had to try to figure that one out right when I first heard it. It very much has a "That's the Way" feel to it ;D

Velcome Beautiful Ending breaks off into some crazy guitar dueling overdubs, which i haven't attempted CORRECTION: Samantha's Play has a capo on the 4th fret (in the Big Easy).....sorry bout that now the actual recording of the song, i'd have to verify which fret it's on C-Am w/ G added (these are the Forms of the chords, not the actual name once u add the capo)

Thanks trip!
I just worked on S.L.I.A.M.P. for like an hour. That song was hard to figure out the lyrics to! Greg helped with a lot of it. There are some lines that may still be totally wrong, I just put what I heard...
Simple Living is Another Man's Prison (S.L.I.A.M.P.)
These cloudy hours seem to shower me when i am alone and itching all i wanna do is step outside and grab some air and enjoy the sunny afternoon this cloudy conscience in my socket seem to be my only point of view i stare at the signs and ?? all the lines i gave to you
oh when the lights turn off I often sing the blues your thoughts come alive and you hit rewind and everything goes true
i'm not the fool you knew and i wouldn't think of harming you i've had some time on my hands and i've readjusted my old ways i'm not the fool that you knew and i hope you hear my thinking i hope you understand
it starts to settle in for me when i am thinkin what you're doin you got a smile on your face and everyone around you is in your space and there is nothin that has kept me out of trouble when it comes to breakin things get kicked in the side and filled full of lies that you're chokin on oh la da da da da da da I said it before move on over i'm cleanin up
i'm not the fool that you knew and i wouldn't think of harming you i've had some time on my hands and i've readjusted my old ways i'm not the fool that you knew and i had to think it through i hope you understand
i haven't seen or heard a word from you in months but i know you're doin fine it hurts to know that you probably moved on when you had my soul oh how we used to spin, around and round we go promises saved but feel the break go through...oh
it's hard to know but you were left with such a hole that i cut up for you oh i was healthy as hell i ?broke? the curse and the spell that held you down
i'm not the fool that you knew and i wouldn't think of harming you i've had some time on my hands and i've readjusted my old ways i'm not the fool you knew and i wouldn't think of hurting you i've had some time on my hands and i try to tell your face right now i'm not the fool you knew and i wouldn't let you down again i'm not the fool

I actually enjoy doing it believe it or not. For me it's like figuring out a puzzle and the reward at the end is that I get to know the song a lot better than I did before I started, being about to help other people out is the icing on the cake.

Anyone want to work on "Here's to ya"? Here's to Youyou spend your whole life feelin clever well clever got you sitting on the couch you're always right you're never wrong God bless you you don't take the fall you leave it on someone's lawn here's to ya you twist and turn and feed your own conclusions you know the ones you like to tell yourself at night i wish it coulda been a different story you know the ones that you will tell again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again up til now you've been livin on the dark side of the tracks and all this time you had it figured out entirely different oh but you didn't create and make up a durable game the ones you will win and nobody else can play the moonbeams are down past your feet and in the floor but you won't let it shine in your face anymore anymore anymore anymore anymore anymore anymore we had a taste of what laid ahead of us if you're thinkin what i'm thinkin then i know you think i'm wrong you think you're right and it's fools like you fuckin up for everybody else oh i saw it coming there was nothing you could do or could say i was doin fine before i met ya you better believe i'll be back in line when you're gone i hope you learn something out of this cuz i know i did and i know it won't happen again if there's one thing you should ever remember is don't you make the same mistakes
