I'm happy to hear that all you guys had a great time. I really, really wanted to make it to this show, but I wasn't able to get the money together in time, and I also had trouble getting my friends to commit to going. I ended up going to see The Crystal Method (among others) at The Rave/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, and I had a BLAST. TCM totally tore the place up and made me feel a lot better about missing what I knew was going to be an awesome Melon show. I'm just glad I was able to catch an amazing concert one way or another. I just love all music. Alternative, Electronic, Oldies, whatever. Concerts will always put a smile on my face. One more thing... I've been kinda out of the loop for the past month or so. I was wondering, what is this?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Is this a new live album or something?

I agree with whoever said that all those who mosh should be put to sleep. I think that it may be a bit harsh, but it made me laugh nonetheless. peace and love

that image above - the Blind Melon in concert thing, is something I grabbed from an online announcement of Melon playing at Pop's in St. Louis. I then made it my signature. Funny story, Melon's manager immediately got in touch with me wondering where I got it. He didn't realize it had gone public yet. That led to me leaking his email to Kacie to give to her friend, whose band then got to open for Melon in Minn.

Doug, wheres the rest of the party pictures at? I know you got more! no, actually i didn't take many before and after photos - i don't know why - i guess I thought everyone else was taking them. Thank D.O.G. I didn't get pushed, pulled, shoved, or spilled on over on the BRAD and CT side of the front row! It was pretty calm over there.

Gabbee, pretty sure it wasn't me, but you never know. I'd have to see the picture. Still smiling at how great they played. Hope things work out with the band and do another Michigan/Ohio run. I'm a fairly new poster to the forum and it would be great to meet up with other forum members for a pre/post gig party. I've got a few stories. One can only hope.

I got beer spilled on me at the melon concert in Birmingham and by the time I walked out of the show in New Orleans my jeans were soaking wet all the way up to my knees with beer. But I loved every minute of it!!! I could prally be covered in cow poo at a melon concert and still have a big smile on my face!! (Well, that might be taking it a little too far...) My personal opinion, tho, is if u walk out a rock concert without at least a couple of battle signs (that includes some spilled beverages) it prally wasn't a good show. And believe me, I have gotten my share at melon concerts!!! peace, love, & shannon

I'll second that.If it's a great Show & You're really enjoying it Beer spillage just adds more Fun to it.When I used to go to alot of concerts from 79 to 94,I have a cigar box filled with ticket stubs.I got hurt at some of them,One time I fell off my chair while I was standing on it .The floor was so much garbage.I was covered in it but it was Rush,The Moving Pictures Tour so I just smelled really bad but had a great time with my Friends. ...WE Used To Drop Some Pills & Sing Till We Lose Our Voice,Oh Yeah!...

Yeah, when they were in Atlanta back in Sept. 08 we had a blast and inevitably the alcohol sloshed a few times...Ran into a road block on the way back (only about 2 miles from my house an hour away from the show) and even though I was straight by then, I still had to get out of the car and do the routine 'cause I reeked of booze.
