cloudly, no post is ever to long. especially talking about nel and the love we all have for one another. i didn't get to meet you personally, but i was also there pretty late listening to her stories. thats always my favorite part of the vigil. late night when most people start to clear out. we all kind of unwind and sit by nel to listen to her stories. and she's such a good story teller. just as shannon was. my daughter zoe was there sitting next to her for hours. i was wondering if she was getting bored, but after we left zoe couldn't stop talking about how much she enjoyed it. how much she loves nel and wants to go back to see her again soon. years ago when i first met nel, it was like id known her forever. she has a way of making you feel like you're family, or her best friend. apparently, shannon had this quality as well. so she took my zoe by her side and they were just fast friends. since then, zoe asks me more and more about shannon and the band. i love it! 360 more days! i cant wait Thanks sebbe - I tend to gush about these things! I think I remember you and your beautiful daughter - mine is 9 and I would like to bring her one of these days...

Friday night there was squelching in the left channel somewhere. It sounded like a high pitched whistle coming from Christopher. It left my ears ringing as well. Rogers had some feedback issues and the bass did kick out a couple of times. It's not nearly as bad as it was in Atlanta. The sound there was so blown out that both recordings of the show were totally clipped. I know he's a bit of a burn out but boy do I miss Mike Maher. howdy ya'll, We had a great time at the vigil even though there was a day-long wrestling match with the sound system there...the club did their best...The problem was that they brought in a bunch of mismatched gear and rigged it up the night before the show, so it had not yet been de-bugged. The vibe was cool there though, so we were grateful to the crowd for helping us pull through with it. Our soundman didn't connect with us until we we got to Canada...

Oh Canada!
I know there were sound issues but you guys gave so much at that show it was obvious you played from the heart. It was an intense performance I'm glad I didn't miss.

8-)Just had to share this little story. My daughter was walking around with her guitar at the cemetery, and Nell spotted her. She stopped to ask if she could take her picture to put on her Myspace. I was shocked. My daughter didn't hesitate to say yes. A guy asked her earlier if he could take her pic, and she got so shy. She hid behind me. Luckily the guy was in the area when Nell asked, so he got his pic. The reason I had to tell this was because I know how crazy things get for Nell. She's constantly running around during the day, and for her to stop and notice my litter girl meant the world to me. Everything that happened that weekend was unforgettable, but that by far was my favorite part. Sorry for rambling, hope this wasn't too long!
