Jowww finally a message from my side stealing wireless kbits right now in my room in Croatia! Anyway, the show was amazing, it felt different to finally see them on this continent. Can't wait for more oin the Spring. The crowd was smaal, but very intimate and most of them were just real real Melonheads singing their hearts out! That's what we want. The guys recognised us ( Barb, Vince and me) from our times in the States. Damn cool! They left and we kept going till .... a.m. heheh! WHen it was getting light again we ripped a poster from a wall with Blind Melon on it. Yeah, and the best is that they get better and better ( only I think they play less songs then the shows in beginning of 2008). Is that true or does it just feels that way? I will not make it to the vigil, but I'll be checking the board.
Love you all. Vince and Lilie, very very awesome to have met you again and we will soon or later with a Melon or Hip tour. Good things in life are never ending. Great to have seen Barb a few evenings, since Croatia is around the block. Time to go, sun is shining and going for an icecream!
Ciao you all Paul

Hey Paul, I felt the same, that the crowd was REALLY into it but I'm still not sure if it's cause the four of us were so into it or if it was a general feel. I know for sure that at least those italians and swiss guys were rocking like we were, hehe. I gotta find the emails they gave me! Still haven't unpacked actually, just threw everything out of my backpack on the floor cause I needed the backpack I wonder about this too cause I feel the same way, shows were even so much better than last time but I was also much more into it and feeling so good during the trip so that might have influenced it. Looks like it's not just me though! Rogers also said they are getting better and better and now you said it too. Btw, I heard a funny (and fucked up at the same time) thing about our mayor today; once when a journalist asked him how he'd comment sayings in town that Koper is now taken over by mafia (which means him and his coworkers), he said "fuck you, you stupid little bitch!" that's about his diplomatic talking skills so maybe it was better you got to talk to the other guy and not him well I think he's nice as long as you're nice to him but the moment you're not, he'll forget about any politness or diplomacy, this was just one of a few funny stories... It was great to see you in the past days, Koper yesterday was cool, now it's Jorik's turn to come with you next time! ;D I hope you'll enjoy the Dolomites to a max! I'm finally gonna swim today, this time for real!

Here are some pics, there are still LOADS of others and I just want to post a few, these are Lillie's (my digital camera batteries were dead by the time I got to Milano) I hope she won't mind posting those. Sorry Lillie, I couldn't resist melonheads all the way! melon love&happiness after the show Paul, Brad and Lillie that's what a melon show does to you giving out the vigil and forum flyers and finding the love of my life that night...or I should rather say he found me lol on our way to the hotel, we saw BM posters and stopped to rip them off next "morning", after a few hours of sleep, still totally fucked up, at least as far as I'm concerned...

I just watched the vids from Milano again. When I saw them right after comming back, I thought they were really really cool and funny. Now that I have more distance and am more back into reality, I find them so normal, lol. I guess it was just the feeling that was crazy that night...actually, when I look back, I realize I was naturally (or I should rather say melony) high during my whole trip.
