I'm a little confused by this. On the Blind Melon myspace page, it lists that BM is playing on the 29th and 30th at 8:00 PM.
However, on the Harley Davidson website, it states that they are playing only on the 30th and that they go on stage at 4:00 PM. I hope the Harley site is wrong...
And also it states that tickets are $65 for the event. I assume that this also includes all the other bands that are playing, but aside from Foghat, Peter Frampton (who's playing at the same time as Melon), and maybe Dr. John, the other bands don't really interest me too much.
I don't have a problem with paying $65 to see Blind Melon. The problem is that I would have a very tough time convincing my not-as-diehard friends to come along with me.
So I'm wondering if anyone has any concrete information about this show and ticket prices.
Thanks guys.

I'm confused about that as well. Maybe you should try to call or email the Harley people to ask them directly...or you could email a band member.
The info we have in the tour dates section here comes from their myspace so we don't have any further details other than what is already on that site plus whatever miscellaneous info. we find on other websites.

I noticed on the Harley Davidson site Blind Melon is now scheduled for Sat the 30th at 3:00pm on the US Cellular stage, sandwiched between Alana Grace, Cameo and Buddy Guy. When I checked previously, they were between Peter Frampton and Joan Jett.
I'm wondering if the 29th show is actually at a nightclub in Milwaukee, at 1225 Water rather than the Summerfest grounds? I need to figure this out!! Please help!

Hey Melons, BM is definately playing at the Summerfest grounds, not at a club. As for the time, that seems to be different everywhere you look. When you receive your tickets in the mail (or at the will call window if you haven't ordered your tickets yet) you will get the "official" schedule. So whatever it says in there, should be right. I have to pick my ticket up at will call, so I can't tell you what the schedule says. Also, the $65 gets you into the Summerfest grounds, so you can see all the bands playing there, and also gets you into Veteran's Park (just North of Summerfest gounds), which is where Bruce Springstein and Foo Fighters are playing (although you need another ticket to see these shows), but there is other stuff going on in Vet's Park as well. Hope this helps. So if you guys are going, let me know. As of right now, I'm going solo, so maybe we can meet up. Are you guys in Milwaukee?

Blind Melon will be playing at a FREE street festival on E. North Ave. on 8/29. www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/Content/Pages/Events/105th_Coverage/schedule.jsp?locale=en_US&scheduleDate=thur#"In true festival form, the 105th Anniversary Celebration will include a variety of entertaining street parties throughout Milwaukee. Each night the roads will be closed off as they come to life with live music and classic Harley revelry. East North Ave. 5PM Alana Grace East North Ave. 7PM The Crave East North Ave. 9PM Blind Melon " I am happy I found that since I have no desire to pay the $65 per person for the whole event when I am only interested in seeing Blind Melon. For those not familiar with Milwaukee this is a cool college/bar part of town. ----------------------------------------------------- Staff edit to correct date from 19th to 29th.

So I'm at work today, talking to a customer and what do I see go driving by on the beltline right in front of my window? Yeah, the Blind Melon tour bus.
At least I'm quite sure it was. Same brown/tan swirly bus with a white trailer being towed behind it. That's what I remember standing next to in Madison talking to Brad recently.
So, I waved as it went by and it made me sad that I can't go to Milwaukee to see them this weekend.
