Sure was, only the earlier ones though, '94 and '95. I was more of a Dead fan and then when Jerry passed my taste went more towards Pearl Jam, AIC, Blind Melon, just heavier stuff in general. Since 2000 I have been averaging close to 150 shows per year, all genres, so it's very possible we have met...nevertheless, I'm sure if we didn't meet we probably should have...

I think the pics I have in mind (with all of you together) were on the internet somewhere but I can't find that page, maybe it's gone cause it's been years the last time I saw them. Or maybe I saw them on a CD he gave me which I have no idea where I have it now. So here's a pic of him: Miha (on the left) and Jure Do you know these guys??

Hmmmm...they don't look familiar but I have horrible memory. It doesn't help that I've met so many beautiful people throughout the years.
So you are from Slovenia? Do you plan on making it to the US for any shows? OR have you accomplished that already?
Fianlly, would I have met these people during a Europe tour or US? I only ask because I've only been to Europe a few times and only to the usual...Italy, Spain, Ireland, England, Germany, Amsterdam...oh, speaking of, I'll be in Italy in a few months...a friend is getting married in Florence...
Anyway, have a good evening...

I have a horrible memory too (especially for faces), so maybe you just look a lot like somebody else. If I ever find the pics I have in mind I'll check it out.
I think the pics were from a Phish Festival (I would say IT but I'm really not sure) in U.S. but you could have met them anywhere in Europe as well, they were travelling all around to see bands.
Since you said you'll be in Italy in a few months...will you be in Italy in September? Blind Melon will be in Europe then so maybe you could catch a few shows!
I live in Slovenia and yes, I accomplished my american Blind Melon road trip! I was there for the first 8 shows in 2008 (end Feb/beginning March). The pic in my signature was taken during that time. You can see (or not, since it's so small, lol) Gabby, Kevin (tripticket), Sonya, Greg, Meredith and Karen.
My plan and hopes now are the european tour in september, at least for a few shows, and then to the states for the vigil and hopefully a show around vigil time too.

I will be in Italy in September...the first two weeks...I havent even thought about seeing a show as the time I'll be there is pretty much mapped out for me but I've just made up my mind to skip out the first chance I get...
I was thinking aboout the vigil as well. I only live a short car drive away...

First two weeks of September, awesome, that's just the time they should be touring in Europe! They are playing a festival in northen Spain on Sept. 4,5 or 6th (the day is not known yet). Maybe we could even meet somewhere in northen Italy and go there together?? we'll see, it's still far away...

I would love to meet you somewhere in Italy for a show...I'd feel better traveling around with someone familiar with the region. My friend and his American fiance' just moved to Italy within the last few months for his job so they are pretty unreliable...I look forward to it...now all I need to do is stop procrastinating and get my passport (was gonna do it yesterday but got flooded in)...

im not reliable in Italy either, lol. except if they play in Italy really near the Slovenian border (Venice the furthest), then I might know the road and places more. Other than that, I don't know Italy much. But anyhoon, wherever they play, we'll sure find our way there!
