Brad, that is the coolest thing ever!!! I will help in any way I can. Good luck brother! Thanks!! I appreciate that. Things are really starting to cook with the whole thing. If you want to contribute photos, art, etc. that is cool, otherwise, helping spread the word. Peace

Brad - how is losing Travis going to effect your book? Are you taking a different angle on it now? Just curious - sounds like this may really screw up all your hard work..?

Brad - how is losing Travis going to effect your book? Are you taking a different angle on it now? Just curious - sounds like this may really screw up all your hard work..? cloudy The band, the Musicares Musician Assistance Program and Nel Hoon all deserve the thank you that I hope this book will become. My intent has not changed, nor has my inspiration for the book in the first place, words sung by Travis. I have to say, in my opinion, the band was dealt a hefty blow (AGAIN!!!) in the last few days. I am compelled to feel they deserve something good, now more then ever. However, the split does not seem at this time, to be amicable. Makes it hard to create something that is supposed to be special, and have it contain things they may open fresh wounds. I will stay the course. Things will certainly change as events unfold. Only time will tell. Another thing, this is all of your book too. No way does this happen without any of you. If the general consensus is that this needs to be put on hold, then so be it. I will agree with the majority. Feedback is not only appreciated, it is needed. Peace Brad

Posting here my blog (myspace) from yesterday: I figured its about time I post an update on the book. The book is still underway. I have been working hard on my own artistic contributions to the book. What initially was going to be one piece for the book has turned into six (minimum). My pieces (calling it that cause I don't know what else to call them), have also spawned many other ideas. I am letting the art, lead the way so to speak. Just as a teaser, here is a sample of one of my pieces: Anyhoon, I wanted to let you all know that I am working hard at putting this together. Promotion has slowed a bit with the "up in the air" status of the band. Also, I am not going to set a deadline yet. I know that tends to let people sit on projects and whatnot, but I don't like to rush art. Feel free to submit your work(s) once they are ready. You do not have to wait for a deadline. Have a great day, week, month. Talk with you all soon. Peace out Brad

how's the book coming along? Slowly if this thread is any indication. LOL. It's a one page at a time kinda day, for the last 10000 days. I am certain my hair has changed colors naturally a few times since I have begun. OK, that's actually just a nice way to say gray. But as the Just For Men dudes say, there's no play for Mr. Gray. So I try to abstain from talking about it. Yet here I type away and off subject. Anyway. It is going very well. Lot's of pieces have been added to the project in the last few days/weeks and that has me excited. I have also been working on a new Hoon 2010 Vigil design that I hope to have finished soon. Well, until next year.

Since we've gotten a lot of new members within the last year, I can send out a mass PM and mass eMail if you'd like. Just write something up and PM me. I'm sure there are still people that don't know about the project.
